We are so grateful for our partners at Whole Foods. Since they took a chance on us 9 years ago, they have been incredibly supportive of our small business. We’ve had a wonderful working relationship with all of the North East regional stores. And we’ve always been proud to be on their shelves! They took care to always place us at eye level and displayed our muesli five bags wide to increase visibility.
Thank you Whole Foods for supporting small businesses like ours! Mike and I are still making Mu Mu Muesli and selling to individual co-ops and other small retail venues as well as online!
Why You Won’t Find Mu Mu Muesli On Whole Food’s Shelves Anymore
We decided to leave Whole Foods because of a new passion we are pursing outside of Mu Mu. We decided that we need more time to devote to our new endeavor: adopting wild mustang horses.
We met a wonderful woman who rescues these beautiful creatures from “kill pens”, where the horses await a journey to Mexico to become dog food. These animals are captured from public lands where they live peacefully in the wild. Mary from Mustang Valley Ranch is a talented horse whisperer who calms the animals so they can be welcomed into new homes.

We are thrilled to adopt three new horses. We’re looking forward to giving them a loving home and to experience the magic that only horses can bring to your life.
At the end of the day, our decision to take Mu Mu Muesli out of Whole Foods was entirely our own and is not a reflection on our relationship with the store. In fact, we have only great things to say about the Whole Foods team.
